For Internet Newbies is a site designed to provide technical help and marketing advice for internet marketers that have technical challenges.
Allen Davis worked for 17 years as a technical support engineer in a satellite communications equipment manufacturing company until he was downsized in the economic downturn.
Allen’s wife wanted to move to China to be closer to her ill grandmother so when Allen got laid off he decided to work online. He used the technical skills he learned in his previous career to build an internet business.
But his true passion is helping others to overcome their technical challenges. Allen will be providing technical training in the form of videos, webinars, checklists and step-by-step procedures here at “For Internet Newbies”.

Money-less, suffering from a longtime debilitating illness with the computer as the only companion and only tool available to me. I have researched over a year now and has a real good understanding of the basic steps needed and what tools are needed to start making a living online. There is a lot of free things available but the most glaring shortcoming they almost all have in common is the ability to explain how to make it work.
Thank you Alan your years of experience give you the edge over most who proclaim they can, so I am keen to learn from you

I hear this alot… people get overloaded with information, but just don’t know how to put the pieces together to make it all work. I wish I could help them all individually. I do what I can.
I am working on putting together a system that will make it easy for everyone to start an IM business.

Thanks for the great program called securefileexpress.I needed it for my download products.Are there “skins” available to customize the interface ,such as,add one of my links?Any info on customizing the interface would be appreciated.Also,when I tested the program by making a purchase,the code did not allow for credit card payments,which would be external to paypal.Example… customer clicks the buy btn,goes to paypal,pays by cc. instead of login and pay via pp acct. Result… no transaction id…result…no product record found at database.
I added a few lines in the php code to allow for this occurance,above the paypal check code.I test for an empty transid,which it will be,then set it to a num.close the if statement,and dump to an else
statement which continues into the paypal check code.It works,I was able to download my purchase after the code addition.Please let me know about if I can add a link to the interface,etc.Thank You ! John.
